Why Do We Need To Know Programming Languages?

Computer programs are developed by using programming languages. A program is a set of instructions followed by the computer, so that data can be processed. The process of producing a program is called programming. Programming is a part of the larger software development process which consists of problem specification, program design, programming, program testing and program maintenance.

There are five Benefits of Understanding Programming Languages

1. Knowing superiority of the programming languages and where it is suitable to be used.
For example : if development involves a rapid prototype, then, it is more efficient to use scripting language like Python, rather than using C or C++.

2. Understanding weaknesses of the Programming Languages
Each language is suitable for one field. For example, to develop graphical user interface (GUI), it is more efficient to use C++ or Java rather than C. To do a lot of calculations, Fortran is more suitable than Java or C.

3. Producing more efficient solutions
If a user understands a few programming languages, he/she can use the most efficient language for solving problem. For example, if the solution requires access to database, it is better to use scripting language like Python for linking, rather than C or C++.

4. Programming Languages will influence user's thinking in solving problem
For example, an object-oriented language will make user think of a solution based on the object concept, while a logic-based language will make the user think of the solution, based on logic.

5. Programming languages are tools for solving problems by using the computer
Most problems are more efficiently solved by experts in the respective fields. Therefore, experts certain fields can learn appropriate programming languages in order to solve their problems.

Perbandingan Di antara Dua Pembekal Storan Awan Yang Popular (Cloud Storage)

1.0 PENGENALAN

Istilah “paperless world” yang digunakan pada zaman ini telah membuka dimensi baru untuk mencipta pelbagai cara penyimpanan data di samping dapat mengurangkan kos penggunaan kertas. Kadangkala pengguna tidak perasan e-mel yang dihantar kepada penerima mendatangkan masalah kepada server kerana disertakan dengan lampiran yang besar. Lampiran fail ini akan memenuhi ruang server dan akan mengakibatkan server tidak dapat menerima e-mel yang baru. Semakin banyak data atau maklumat yang pengguna simpan, maka semakin banyak ruang yang diperlukan. Biasanya data atau maklumat akan disimpan di “hard drives”, CD atau ” flash disk”, “thumb drive”, “external drive” atau “server”. Walau bagaimanapun, setiap masalah akan ada penyelesaiannya. Kesinambungan daripada itu, seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi pada masa kini, pengguna mula beralih ke penyimpanan fail Storan Awan atau “Cloud storage”.

Apakah itu Storan Awan? Storan Awan adalah merupakan perkhidmatan yang membolehkan pengguna menyimpan sesuatu fail di dalam ruang storan internet dan fail tersebut boleh di akses menggunakan komputer, tablet atau telefon pintar melalui sambungan internet walau di mana sahaja dengan mudah. Storan Awan ini sangat berguna sebagai tempat untuk menyimpan gambar, mp3, video, dokumen dan sebagainya. Sekiranya “hard disk” atau cakera keras komputer pengguna rosak, kehilangan fail-fail yang penting dan berharga dapat dielakkan. Di samping dapat menjimatkan penggunaan kertas, masa, tenaga dan wang, storan awan juga boleh membuat salinan atau “backup” data-data penting. Walaupun terdapat risiko terhadap jaminan keselamatan data yang disimpan menggunakan storan awan ini, namun boleh di kawal dari semasa ke semasa. Dengan adanya storan awan ini banyak memberi manfaat dan memudahkan kerja pengguna. Kebaikan dan cabaran penggunaan storan awan ini akan dibincangkan di perenggan yang seterusnya.

2.0 PERBANDINGAN DI ANTARA DUA PEMBEKAL STORAN AWAN YANG POPULAR

2.1 GOOGLE DRIVE

Menurut Wikipedia (2016), Google Drive adalah perkhidmatan yang ditawarkan oleh Google yang membolehkan pengguna untuk menyimpan dan berkongsi fail dalam talian. Perkhidmatan ini telah mula dilancarkan pada 24 April, 2012 dengan menyediakan 5 GB penyimpanan percuma. Jika ingin mempunyai lebih tempat penyimpanan, Google Drive ada menawarkan penyimpanan tambahan yang boleh dibeli dengan bayaran bulanan.

Matlamat Google Drive ialah untuk menyediakan satu tempat di mana pengguna boleh menyimpan fail dalam talian dan boleh mengakses dari mana-mana sahaja. Selain itu juga, pengguna juga boleh mengakses Google Drive dari pelbagai peranti dan ia juga menawarkan perisian yang boleh didapati untuk Windows, Mac OS X, Android dan platform Ios. Perkhidmatan ini juga menyediakan antara muka berasaskan web yang membolehkan pengguna untuk menetapkan fail anda dan mencari dokumen dengan nama fail atau kandungan.

Selain storan fail dalam talian, Google Drive juga menyediakan alat untuk berkongsi fail dan berkolaborasi dalam projek dengan pengguna lain melalui web. Sebagai contoh, daripada menghantar e-mel lampiran besar, pengguna juga boleh menghantar pautan ke fail dari Google Drive untuk satu atau lebih pengguna. Pengguna juga boleh menggunakannya berasaskan web aplikasi Google Docs untuk mencipta atau mengedit dokumen dalam talian. Apabila pengguna berkongsi dokumen dengan pengguna Google Drive yang lain, semua orang boleh melihat dan mengedit dokumen pada masa yang sama. Google Drive membolehkan pengguna melihat lebih 30 jenis fail secara langsung dalam pelayar web pengguna. Ini termasuk format “propriety Google”, serta lain-lain jenis fail popular seperti Adobe Photoshop dan Illustrator dokumen.

2.1.1 Kegunaan

Google Drive boleh di layari di laman link yang berikut iaitu, http://google.com. Pengguna boleh menggunakan beberapa aplikasi termasuk pemprosesan kata, hamparan kerja (spreadsheet) dan persembahan (presentation) melalui Google Docs. Apa yang lebih penting, untuk menggunakan kemudahan Google Apps, pengguna perlu mempunyai akaun Google iaitu Gmail.

2.1.2 Kelebihan

Di antara kelebihan menggunakan Google Drives ialah :

a) Pengguna boleh menghasilkan dokumen-dokumen tersebut melalui Internet tanpa memuat naik (install) perisian dalam komputer.

b) Selain itu, ia juga boleh di kongsi dengan pengguna lain melalui kaedah perkongsian atau “sharing”.

2.2 DROPBOX

Apakah itu Dropbox? Menurut Wikipedia (2016), Dropbox adalah perkhidmatan simpanan awan peribadi (kadangkala dirujuk juga sebagai perkhidmatan sandaran dalam talian) yang sering digunakan untuk berkongsi fail. Aplikasi Dropbox boleh didapati untuk system operasi desktop Windows, Macintosh dan Linux. Terdapat juga aplikasi untuk iPhone, iPad, Android dan peranti BlackBerry.

Dropbox ada menyediakan perkhidmatan penyimpanan 2 gigabait secara percuma sehingga 100 GB dengan cara pembelian yang disediakan dalam pelbagai bentuk pakej. Terdapat satu lagi pilihan yang menyediakan 350 GB penyimpanan iaitu Dropbox for Teams. Data pengguna akan disimpan dalam Perkhidmatan Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) dan dilindungi dengan Secure Socket Layer (SSL) dan Advanced Encryption System (AES) 256-bit encryption.

Selepas pemasangan aplikasi yang berkaitan, folder Dropbox akan muncul dengan folder pengguna yang lain. Dengan hanya menarik dan melepaskan fail ke folder, pengguna boleh menyimpan fail ke folder, tambah folder baru dan juga menyimpan fail. Fail dalam folder Dropbox boleh di akses dari mana-mana sahaja dan sambungan Internet – pengguna hanya perlu log masuk ke akaunnya untuk memuat naik, memuat turun dan berkongsi fail.

Pengguna boleh menjana URL untuk berkongsi fail dari laman web Dropbox dan menghantar ia keluar supaya orang lain boleh melihatnya. Daripada laman web Dropbox juga, folder pengguna boleh dikongsi dengan pengguna orang lain dengan cara berkongsi fail. Penerima yang tidak mempunyai akaun Dropbox dimestikan untuk mendaftar dengan dropbox bagi memudahkan mengakses apa yang di kongsikan kepada mereka. Sebaik sahaja folder dikongsi, ia akan muncul dalam sistem folder untuk semua pengguna yang mempunyai akses kepada maklumat itu dan semua ahli akan dapat membuat perubahan kepada fail sekiranya perlu.

Kebiasaannya Dropbox digunakan oleh pengguna harian dan sememangnya menjadi pilihan ramai. Walau bagaimanapun, perkembangan teknologi dari semasa ke semasa telah menyebabkan Dropbox semakin popular di kalangan pengusaha-pengusaha syarikat dan organisasi kerana mempunyai ciri-ciri yang sangat berguna serta memudahkan pengguna. Perkhidmatan ini juga semakin menjadi pilihan oleh bank-bank, kedai video, perpustakaan dan pejabat pos kerana penggunaannya yang terjamin selamat dan telah membuatkan pengguna dapat merasai apa juga bahan yang di kongsikan dengan pengguna lain dalam keadaan yang terkawal.

2.2.1 Kegunaan

Pengguna boleh melayari laman web Dropbox di link https://www.dropbox.com. Satu servis penyimpanan atau storan yang menggunakan teknologi pengkomputeran awan adalah sebagai nadinya. Ruang storan yang disediakan adalah 2 GB.

2.2.2 Kelebihan

Di antara kelebihan menggunakan Dropbox ialah :-

a) Ruang storan yang besar iaitu 2 GB.

b) Dapat menjimatkan wang kerana tidak perlu membeli peranti storan.

c) Pengguna Dropbox mempunyai fail “backup” (dua salinan fail) iaitu satu di dalam komputer dan satu lagi di atas awan.

d) Fail data dan maklumat boleh di kongsi dengan pengguna lain.

e) Dokumen boleh diakses pada bila-bila masa dan di mana-mana sahaja melalui peranti mudah alih seperti iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry dan Android.

f) Dropbox juga sangat mesra pengguna di samping mempunyai kelebihan yang tersendiri seperti boleh menjemput rakan untuk berkolaborasi dalam berkongsi fail, fungsi direct link (hotlinking) kepada gambar, mp3 dan sebagainya.

g) Maklumat dan data dapat disimpan dan dilayari pada bila-bila masa yang diperlukan selagi ada talian internet.

h) Storan fizikal seperti external hard disk, thumb drive dan sebagainya tidak perlu susah-susah untuk dibawa bersama.

2.3 Perbandingan Beberapa Pembekal Storan Awan

Selain daripada dua pembekal Storan Awan yang dinyatakan di atas, terdapat beberapa lagi pembekal Storan Awan yang menjadi pilihan pengguna. Pembekal Storan Awan tersebut di antaranya ialah SugarSync, ZipCloud, SkyDrive dan myPCBacup.co. Perbandingan di antara Pembekal Storan Awan ini adalah seperti rajah di bawah.

Selain daripada pembekal Storan Awan yang disenaraikan di atas, Pembekal Storan Awan Skydrive juga menjadi pilihan pengguna. Ini adalah kerana

· sifatnya yang mesra pengguna,

· mempunyai ruangan storan yang besar dan

· pengguna boleh meng”upgrade” ruangan storan yang lebih besar pada harga yang sangat berpatutan.

Natijahnya, walau apa pun jenis pembekal storan awan yang menjadi pilihan pengguna, namun fungsi dan kegunaannya adalah tetap sama iaitu untuk memudahkan urusan penyimpanan data. Persaingan yang sihat di antara pembekal storan awan ini banyak memberikan manfaat dan kebaikan kepada pengguna.

3.0 KEBAIKAN YANG DIPEROLEHI DALAM MENGGUNAKAN STORAN AWAN DI ORGANISASI

3.1 Kebaikan Storan Awan

Pengkomputeran Awan adalah berasakan internet. Jika sebelum ini pengguna akan menjalankan aplikasi atau program daripada perisian yang dimuat turun pada computer fizikal atau pelayan di bangunan mereka, pengkomputeran awan membolehkan pengguna mengakses kepada jenis yang sama melalui internet. Menurut Baiju NT (2013), kaji selidik yang baru dilakukan ke atas 800 perniagaan dan pengguna di seluruh dunia, telah mendapati bilangan organisasi yang mendapat kelebihan daya saing melalui penggunaan storan awan telah mencapai hampir dua kali ganda dalam beberapa tahun yang lalu. Mengapakah begitu banyak sekali perniagaan bergerak ke storan awan? Ini adalah kerana pengkomputeran awan meningkatkan kecekapan, dapat membantu meningkatkan aliran tunai dan lebih banyak faedah yang ditawarkan. Berikut adalah kebaikan penggunaan storan awan :-

3.1.1 Kegunaan - Semua perkhidmatan Storan awan yang dikaji di dalam topic ini mempunyai folder desktop PC dan Mac’s. Ini membolehkan pengguna untuk menarik dan melepaskan fail antara storan awan dan storan setempat mereka.

3.1.2 Jalur Lebar - Jalur Lebar adalah istilah yang merujuk kepada trafik internet. Perkhidmatan komputer yang berasaskan storan awan adalah sesuai untuk perniagaan yang berkembang pesat mengikut turun naiknya permintaan jalur lebar. Pengguna juga boleh mengelakkan menghantar fail kepada individu dan bukannya menghantar pautan web kepada penerima melalui e-mel pengguna.

3.1.3 Kebolehcapaian - Fail yang di simpan boleh di akses dari mana-mana sahaja melalui sambungan internet. Dengan adanya storan awan yang menawarkan aplikasi bergerak, pengguna tidak akan mempunyai halangan untuk melaksanakan di mana sahaja. Hal ini menjadi pilihan para pengusaha yang memerlukan data dapat di akses dengan lebih cepat.

3.1.4 Pemulihan bencana – Sekiranya berlaku kehilangan data, pengguna akan mempunyai sandaran fail asal. Para pengguna dan perusahaan perniagaan disyorkan mempunyai pelan kecemasan sandaran untuk persediaan sekiranya berlaku kes kecemasan atau perkara yang tidak diingini berlaku. Ruang storan awan boleh digunakan sebagai pelan perlindungan oleh perniagaan dengan menyediakan salinan fail penting yang kedua. Fail-fail ini disimpan di tempat yang jauh dan boleh di akses melalui sambungan internet. Terjadinya kehilangan data akibat kerosakan atau kehilangan perangkat seperti komputer, laptop atau gadget dapat di atasi dengan adanya teknologi penyimpanan storan awan ini. Pengguna dapat memadam data daripada gadget yang hilang agar tidak sampai ke tangan yang salah.

3.1.5 Kos Simpanan – Dengan menggunakan ruang storan awan, pengusaha dapat mengurangkan kos operasi tahunan. Untuk menyimpan data secara dalaman, kos storan awan yang dikenakan adalah kira-kira 3 sen untuk setiap gigabait. Oleh itu, para pengguna boleh menjimatkan kos tambahan kerana ia tidak memerlukan kuasa dalaman untuk menyimpan maklumat dari jauh. Ia dapat menjimatkan penggunaan kertas, masa dan juga tenaga. Selain itu, kos penyelenggaraan perisian dan perkakasan juga telah dapat dijimatkan.

4.0 CABARAN DALAM MENGGUNAKAN STORAN AWAN DALAM ORGANISASI

Sungguhpun banyak kebaikan yang telah diperoleh oleh pengguna dengan menggunakan Storan Awan ini, namun masih terdapat beberapa cabaran yang menjadi kekhuatiran para pengguna. Untuk memelihara keselamatan data atau maklumat peribadi pengguna, beberapa langkah keselamatan perlu di ambil untuk meningkatkan ciri-ciri keselamatan data maklumat pengguna.

4.1 Tips Keselamatan Pengguna Storan Awan

Di sini terdapat beberapa tips keselamatan penggunaan Storan Awan ini :-

a) Kata laluan yang digunakan adalah sesuai dan mempunyai ciri-ciri keselamatan.

b) Membuat salinan (backup) secara berkala di storan lain seperti cakera keras (hard disk) dan external storage.

c) Pilih data dengan teliti yang ingin dimuat naik.

d) Jangan memuat naik data peribadi terutamanya gambar-gambar yang tidak sesuai didedahkan kepada umum.

e) Terma dan syarat Storan Awan yang dipilih hendaklah difahami dengan betul.

4.2 Cabaran Dalam Menggunakan Storan Awan

Di antara cabaran dalam menggunakan Storan Awan di dalam organisasi ialah :-

4.2.1 Kebolehgunaan – Pengguna hendaklah berhati-hati apabila menarik dan melepaskan (drag/drop) fail ketika memindahkan dokumen ke ruang (folder) storan awan. Ini akan memindahkan dokumen dari dalam folder asal ke lokasi storan awam secara kekal. Pengguna digalakkan membuat salinan dan tampal (copy and paste) daripada menarik dan melepaskan (drag/drop) fail jika ingin mengekalkan lokasi asal dokumen selain memindahkan sesalinan ke ruang (folder) storan awan.

4.2.2 Jalur Lebar – Beberapa perkhidmatan storan awan mempunyai elaun khusus jalur lebar. Jika sesebuah organisasi melebihi elaun yang diberikan, caj tambahan mungkin akan dikenakan. Bagaimanapun, terdapat sesetengah pembekal storan awan yang membenarkan penggunaan jalur lebar tidak terhad. Inilah antara faktor yang organisasi atau perusahaan harus pertimbangkan apabila mencari pembekal Storan Awan.

4.2.3 Kebolehcapaian – Untuk mengakses data, pengguna memerlukan capaian internet. Sekiranya sistem talian internet terganggu atau tidak stabil, capaian data akan turut terganggu. Seterusnya ini akan mengganggu aktiviti harian pengguna atau syarikat.

4.2.4 Sekuriti Data – Masih tidak dipastikan tahap keselamatan penggunaan storan awan ini. Walaupun mempunyai kata laluan, ia masih boleh di pecah masuk oleh penggodam yang berkemahiran. Ini membimbangkan organisasi mengenai keselamatan dan privasi data penting yang disimpan. Kemungkinan pengusaha yang mempunyai hubungan perniagaan dengan organisasi lain juga merasa tidak selesa.

4.2.5 Ketidakpastian Keadaan Pelayan (Server) – Oleh sebab pelayan (server) berada di “awan”, keadaan pelayan (server) masih belum dapat dipastikan. Kemungkinan besar perkara ini boleh terjadi kerana pelayan mempunyai masalah atau pun terlebih beban. Maklumat data yang di simpan juga mungkin akan hilang. Oleh itu, pengguna perlu membuat 2 salinan agar data tersebut tidak hilang.

4.2.6 Perisian (Software) – Jika pengguna ingin memanipulasikan fail tempatan melalui pelbagai peranti, pengguna terlebih dahulu perlu untuk memuat turun perkhidmatan kepada semua peranti.

5.0 KESIMPULAN

Walaupun terdapat beberapa pembekal Storan Awan di zaman ini, fungsi serta penggunaannya adalah sama. Implementasi Storan Awan kepada pengguna adalah sangat bermanfaat. Penggunaannya boleh dikategorikan sebagai efektif dan efisyen dalam menyelesaikan masalah storan fizikal hardware dan penyimpanan data. Teknologi ini mudah digunakan, menjimatkan masa, tenaga dan kos. Apa yang pengguna perlukan hanyalah sambungan internet dan komputer, tablet atau telefon pintar. Penerapan dan pembudayaan penggunaan Storan Awan kepada pengguna dan pengusaha organisasi juga kepada pelajar institusi tinggi dilihat menjadi tanggungjawab bersama. Penggunaan Storan Awan ini secara tidak langsung dapat mengurangkan kos pembelian perkakasan untuk penstoran di samping mengurangkan bebanan pelayan server dan sumber manusia. Selain data yang tersimpan terjaga keselamatannya, pengguna juga tidak perlu khuatir jika secara tiba-tiba terjadi masalah pada perangkat elektronik. Kini, syarikat-syarikat seperti Apple, Google dan Windows masing-masing mempunyai aplikasi Storan Awan mereka sendiri. Sebagai contoh Apple dengan iCloud, Google dengan Google Drive dan Windows dengan Skydrive. Sehingga saat ini teknologi Storan Awan masih terus dikembangkan. Beberapa penyedia Storan Awan yang mengkhususkan pada jenis fail tertentu seperti Storan Awan Muzik atau Storan Awan Gambar juga semakin banyak kemunculannya. Perkembangan daripada teknologi penyimpanan data tersebut nampaknya tidak pernah berhenti dan semakin canggih dari sehari ke sehari.

Advantages And Disadvantages Working Online From Home

The number of people working online from home has grown in some countries.

Why is it so? What advantages and disadvantages can come of this trend?

1.0 ABSTRACT

Before we get started I would like to share a bit of background on why the phenomenon of working online and working from home is becoming increasingly popular. Have you ever heard about BYOD or abbreviation from "bring your own device". Fadzli Ghazali (2015) says that, According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bring_your_own_device), is the current trend BYOD where many companies allow employees to use their own laptop or smartphone to work at the Office. An increasing number of Malaysians now own a tablet, smartphone and laptop. With connection to the Internet a wealth of jobs we can do than want to order pizza to make work online (Figure 3.1) . In addition consumption rate in Malaysia also increased over the years. Did you know that over 60% of the people are Internet users.

In the other corner, after the economic crisis in the United States in 2008, large companies in the world and Malaysia are now getting with different interest-such opportunities. In summary, the company will use the services of freelance workers or part-time to perform various tasks such as data entry, data verification, image moderation and more. Due to this phenomenon, freelance services growing like mushrooms to link employers and employees online. Unfortunately, many Malaysians who don't already know about the freelance market and opportunities work from home who do exist.

In this assignment, I would like to share my knowledge and experience about working online at home mainly to help people who want to work from home. It's fun if we can work from home. No traffic jams and the most interesting point is we are able to spend more time with family. We will also save our fuel budget, tolls, parking, etc. If we calculate about saving, a well saving time is the best part. So worth it is for us to gain knowledge how to work online to generate income from home.

2.0 INTRODUCTION

What is Working Online? Jesaffi (2015) says that, Working online is working through the media of the internet as an intermediary between us with network client or people in need of our services. In fact, online work almost the same work in the real world, which distinguish about space and time. If working outdoors, we should set off in the morning and return in the evening, but working online can be done anywhere, especially at home, as long as they have an internet connection. Working from home already a distinctive trend in this era of technology nowadays. In fact, there are many enterprise require employees who do not have to come to the office normally. The sophistication of technology at this age is possible can be done online, easily, file-sharing and contact between colleagues who are also in part time over the internet. Similarly, more and more types of employment which allows its employees to stay home while completing all the work. For example, a designer, freelance writer, online sellers, web developers, and more. Work online at home is actually a non working time up to very suitable in an effort to find additional income. Perhaps, many will ask, how to make money from the internet. Nowadays, to find revenue is not from "offline", but at this modern age, almost all aspects of life can be done online. Yes, we can get sources of income from the internet, and it is not impossible if the revenue from online is greater than the results we got from "offline" work (Figure 4.1). Of course running online job at home is fun due to it can be done even anywhere and at any time, as long as we have a relationship with the internet network.

3.0 THE TYPES OF ONLINE WORK AT HOME

Refers to an article in the Mingguan Wanita magazine Edition : 1685 output 4 to March 10, 2016, titled “Online Business Who Dominate”, normally, many people who often associate with online working at home is the housewife. But the notion off significantly with the modern era is the task ahead of us. The phenomenon of working online at home has long been used in modern countries and now it has become a more prevalent and more and more online work that can be done at home. Unlike the work that requires us to be present physically, work online at home is more convenient. The following is a list of online job at home that able to increase household income. It does not require a capital of penny and everything is done only at the end of your finger.

3.1 BUSINESS ONLINE

Internet business is one of the business activities that use sophisticated technology or better known as e-commerce, i.e. doing business of trading between dealers with users over the Internet. In Malaysia, internet business activities increasingly its popularity and well received nowadays, in line with the national economic and development progress. In addition, an Internet business is not only dedicated to large companies, but there is also a small company doing business on the internet, even if they have a job that remains to find additional income. It is shown that an Internet business is gaining overwhelming response which is beneficial to the merchant or user.

Business online gives number of advantages, namely, the sale and purchase arrangements could be done more easily and quickly as well as reducing costs. This is because, the traders do not have to promote their products outside such as in supermarkets or in other public places. Transportation and workforce can be reduced. This situation also easier for customers to purchase goods. They do not need to waste time to book in the store but just make a reservation through the internet. However, traders should be honest in doing online sales transaction and does not commit fraud so as to gain the trust of the buyers.

3.2 THE AUTHOR

For those who have talent in the field of writing, especially who write either personal experience or blogs, novels, short stories and articles again on time is really worth. What is needed is just a personal computer or laptop and also internet connection to send writing for review.

If we used to work in technical areas, do have a demand for technical writing. If working in the field of Human Resource, we can help anyone who wants to make a resume or cover letter for a small fee. Proofreading and editing are also the branches that can be taken into account. Just read the text and fix any writing and grammar wrong to make it looks neater.

In terms of costs, normally it often depends on how much words needed and also the technical subjects as well as written. Expected income around RM5-RM10 for an article length 300-400 words.

3.3 TRANSLATOR

Working as a translator requires that someone skilled in several languages, especially mastery of grammar. Multinational companies often need a translator to translate all the native language documents into the language of other countries where they have a network of branch offices. For a translator, usually costs given in accordance with the number of words to be translated and roughly get costs around RM5 for every 200-300 words that are translated.

3.4 DATA ENTRY

For data entry, we need a desktop computer or a laptop computer in order to complete as many of the data should be included. Usually giants such as in the field of telecommunications, insurance and so on involving data user require many people for this entry data. The average payment will be given RM5 an hour just by being in front of the computer. Normally payment is made once a month according to the work done.

3.5 TRANSCRIBE

In contrast to data entry, transcribe this work over to copy the document or audio. Speech from certain people is always needed in the form of text. We only need to listen to and copy the speeches them one by one. Just fix any grammartical error if necessary. If there is a very thick document and it takes a long time to scan, the better is retype. Just as online data entry job, the average will get within RM5 an hour. However, it depends on the complexity of work assigned and number of words.

3.6 GRAPHIC DESIGNERS

Believe it or not, making the logo alone can give us at minimum of RM100? Creativity and skills in using software multimedia computer, work online at home as graphic designer is also possible. Normally, the advertising or marketing company employ a graphic designer online at home. Not only that, many small company requires the services of designing bunting, banner, flyer, business card and many others. Costs given in turn usually according to the specific project that sometimes reaches thousands of dollars for a job that only takes a few days. Costs in turn depends on the company's customers because it is paid once the work has been accepted by the customer but some are paid months later.

4.0 ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF WORKING ONLINE

At home in Malaysia, working online activities is becoming increasingly well known and well received nowadays, in line with the national economic and development progress. In addition, those who work online at home not only consists of the work in small companies, but also working in large companies, even if they have a regular job but the rising cost of living causes them to strive to find additional income. This shows that working online at home getting a warm welcome in being able to provide benefits to consumers. However, working online also has disadvantages that cannot be ignored. These will be discussed in the next paragraph.

4.1 THE ADVANTAGES OF WORKING ONLINE AT HOME

4.1.1 TIME FLEXIBLE WORKING

We are free to determine the working hours of our own. As already described above, work online at home is very easy because we can work anywhere and at any time at all because everything is up to ourselves. As long as there is internet connection we can already carry out this work.

4.1.2 DO NOT PRODUCE A LOT OF ENERGY

Working online at home employment can be a relaxing and not too much in giving energy. We don't have to hurry to office, trapped in congestion or met with the client. We just have to sit in front the computer to communicate with the client. If you want to send information only through e-mail, videos and other tools, all available in the laptop or PC.

4.1.3 FILL LEISURE TIME

Just like a hobby, we can make online work at home as a platform to fill our free time. If we have a permanent job, we still can online after working hours. In addition, it can add additional income to cover our daily expenses and family.

4.1.4 DREAM FOR SELF-EMPLOYED

Some people feel that they are not suitable to be employee to others. They feel that they have their own style to do work. Unfortunately, their hard work is not for them but to make money for the employers. Therefore, many have dreams for self-employed and the smart steps is online business.

4.1.5 DO NOT NEED TO RENT OFFICE SPACE OR SHOP

Choosing online business is one of the ways to work at home. In fact, we already have virtual offices and stores of its own. All the places where we are is office and shop on their own. We just simply need equipment such as laptop or PC, and internet connection. Not only that, we also have the domain name business if you want to look more professional to enhance online business.

4.1.6 TO BALANCE THE FAMILY MANAGING

Work online at home can provide many other opportunities to give full attention to the family, especially those who have small children. We have a lot of time with our families and for housewives in turn, be able to give more attention to manage the household and children as well as to increase income by working online at home.

4.1.7 PRESSURE WORKING

Not many choose to work online at home as the excuse to reduce or eliminate stress or stress at work. Regardless of the pressure comes from the employer, working environment or job done. By working online at home, we can make our own planning to our appropriate time and conditions.

4.2 THE DISADVANTAGES OF WORKING ONLINE AT HOME

4.2.1 MOTIVATION AND FOCUS EASILY LOST

This common problem facing faced to those who have working at home at a long period is getting less. So, motivation is the focus. It should be recharge periodically if you want to continue the momentum. It can also be influenced by external factors such as the words of people around you who continuously say that you are unemployed, would irritating your mind.

4.2.2 TIME MANAGEMENT

Due to the freedom of working hours, sometimes self-employees facing difficulty to arrange time for themselves. Jobs at the Office is usually resolved within 1-2 hours, time consuming even faster, and will take some time far longer if worked from home. They do not have specific working time, there are only several people who think they are free all the time, be interrupted without terms and conditions occur. For that, we have to manage time properly. So even though working from home, keep any time to work and time to others.

4.2.3 PREFERABLY DO NOT EASILY FOOLED

The desire to work online at home, cause us to observe only the given agreement as to make the payment of registration to commence work online. There is the attitude of a few humans who wish to make on the poverty of others. That's a lot to happen whenever we look for jobs online, too many scam and fraud. In general, there is nothing you will be paying to work online. Just need to have the expertise and knowledge to bid and perform the offered freelance marketplace.

4.2.4 HAS BAD HABITS

Bad habits that can be sustained and carried out while working at home is erratic food intake. Sometime we do not touch food or those that can be chewed directly at any time to get rid of the feeling of drowsiness. In addition, for smokers and coffee enthusiasts, working without the second, it feels very hard to do (Figure 6.4). And at home, both are a mandatory fine food at the work desk so that makes it easier for the brain to find ideas. However, if it is practiced often it is feared to be harmful to our body.

4.2.5 MIN CUSTOMERS

Among the negative effects arising for online businesses who choose one of the ways to work online at home was forced to face red from the customer. For example, although Malaysia increasingly thrive, there are many more communities still not proficient using information technology. Online traders had to be patient with the customers who often not satisfied with products that are marketed on the ground only make a choice through advertisements on the internet only. This situation also impact to the dealer who had to produce the higher costs for other goods again in order to customer satisfaction.

4.2.6 THERE TIME SOCIAL INTERACTION

When we work at the Office or in the company, we will meet many different people. Social relationships emerges from contact with the people, every day where many states exchange stories and views. Another case working from home, greeting and communications of most Malaysian only done through technology. Chat, SMS, video call, and others. We can only follow a comment online that can link us with friends such as skype, but social relationships in the outside world obviously very different. Over time, if we don't deal with it more, most likely this can pose disease autism.

4.2.7 THE FEELING OF COURAGE

Even if not all suffer from such a situation, but as a result of too long do not have interactions with friends will make slightly decreased mental courage to deal with the real world. For example, we've been accustomed to doing everything online. Offer goods online, ask news online, and giving and responds comments online. This resulted in the response we become slow on the things done expressly, because usually in the online world we are not dealing directly with the problem or incident. If it's already afraid, there are some people who get hard talking with others in the real world, but when in cyberspace so outspoken and more talkative.

We take the example of a little thing like asking path. Although there are already a Google Maps, Nokia Drive, and Apple Maps help, sometimes we need to ask people, right? The courage of things like this can also disappear if we are too long not unsocialized and cooped ourselves in the world that we have created for ourselves.

5.0 CONCLUSION

Whatever we want to do, firstly make sure we must examine the validity of work offered by the counterparty. What can be done is to see the establishment background. How feedback from the "workers" earlier and so on should be taken into account. Do not let yourself in fraudulent by those who wisely take advantage of distress you. Most importantly, as a summary and action, we need to dare to try. Only by trying we can learn something new and to seize opportunities to generate income (Figure 6.5). Find simple and safest way to learn about how to find work online. This opportunity is now available through programs conducted by MDeC named Program eRezeki (http://www.erezeki.my/). In addition, not only the people who received the advantages and benefits, but it also gives a big impact on the country. This shows that Malaysia is now able to compete with other developed countries. However, we also have to be careful because there are a few risks ahead. Therefore, government authorities should control internet usage in a particular field so that this facility will not being abused.
